please recommend where you got your invites from... UPDATED
I'm having a little trouble deciding on invites i like. I can't seem to find ones i'm crazy about. I like very simple and modern i guess. I don't like the traditional invites. Any ideas? PLEASE HELP!!!

I am probably going to get mine from Linda's Lovelies. She is a vendor on here. A few people I know used her and were very happy. I already met with her once and she has tons of books for you to look at. Plus, she discounts.

I am going with pocketfolds from Pippy Sweets. Diana is a vendor on here and her prices are awesome. She can custom make them so give her a try. She's been awesome to work with!

I went to Lion In The Sun in Huntington to look through the books and find something I really liked. For ordering though, I'm going through princessweddinginvitations.com because they are $230 less.

we used my neighbor.
but we just got back from follow your heart in west islip-- we're using her for computer calligraphy.
she also does invitations and gives a 25% discount.

i haven't actually ordered them, but i'll be getting them from invitations and beyond in oceanside. they beat everyone elses prices that i saw and they were really nice. its a tiny shop -- family owned and operated. they've got a huge selection and everyone is very patient and will work with your budget.
I was just in there today....they helped me shave $200+ off the cost of the invites I liked!

I got mine from Cathy from Invitation Station and Sweet Nut Hut in Deer Park - she is great and pretty inexpensive too!

So is it pretty much impossible to get nice, simple, modern invites for around $200-$300?
I love pocketfolds... but i'm not willing to spend $500 to get them.
