Re: ceremony and cocktail musicians
are you having a band or dj? they can probably provide musicians. Our band is providing a string trio for the ceremony around 700 i think, and a jazz quartet for the cocktail hour. but i forgot how for how much. The string trio is from Soundcheck entertainment.

Re: ceremony and cocktail musicians
i want to keep the music under $3,000. my dj quoted me $1400, so i guess my budget is around $1500. i need ceremony, cocktail hour, and then the dessert lounge at the end. three hours total.

Re: ceremony and cocktail musicians
try Capriccio Ensemble. they're a vendor here. Natalie has been great to work with and their repetoire runs from classical to contemporary. they should be able to work with your budget.

I booked royal brass for an hour is 600 for the trio. I would definitely call Fodger and see what he can do for you.

Re: ceremony and cocktail musicians
We are having a string quartet for the CH and we booked Counterpoint. We are paying $550 for 1 hour. They were the best quality / least expensive that we could find.

You should contact Julliard's career services. I heard you can hire talented music students for a fraction of the price of professionals.
