Alternative to Secrets in Punta Cana

Hello,

Does anyone know of a nice alternative to Secrets Excellence in Punta Cana? Unfortunately, they are out of our budget (as much as I've been trying to deny it), but I was wondering if anywhere else is comparable or even comes close. I've seen a few that look nice but I'm just not sure. TIA

Do you have your heart set on Punta Cana?

There's a secrets (2 actually) right outside of Cancun. Maybe those are cheaper? I was supposed to go there and got a great deal. But if that is still too much, i'd look into other AI in Mexico. I think you get the most bang for your buck there.

I know its not any of my business, but if you want to FM your budget, I can make a few suggestions so you don't waste your time. I can't tell you how many hours I spent researching this!

I too can help with ideas if you FM me your budget....I've been to a ton of All Inclusives all over....3 in Punta Cana! I also would recommend Mexico for a honeymoon over Punta Cana.

We went to Paradisus Punta Cana in June 04 and it was AMAZING!!! At the time we paid about $1700 pp and that incl. airfare. The food was amazing and the people were so friendly there. Look into it, there are great reviews on tripadvisor.com. FM me if you have any questions. Good luck!!
