Wedding Theme Schizophrenia

Please Excuse the third word in that heading..if you have a better word for it..please tell me so I can change.

Does anyone else go back and forth with themes or colors. I feel like I am the worst at this!!! At first I thought...hmmmm...I'm going to do all neutral..or very champagne,mocha...neutral colors...to match my neutral tivoli room. As on of the brides on here once said...a very italian romanesque theme.

I have always loved the tropical look...so recently i've been thinking..hmm....Bright Pink with orchids and lillies will be beautiful...However..I don't think orchids wil go to well against a Russos backdrop. Someone please help me, diagnose me....I feel like everyone has there colors and themes and don't go back. Why am I always unsure?!?!?

Want my input? Stick to your original vision and keep everything neutral to match your room. When you look at your pics in 20-30-40 years, those colors will still be neutral, and they'll still match the room.

Got me?

You are going back and forth because we are on here all day and find other things that catch our eye. You have to make a decision and stand firm, unless we will be like this until the wedding day.

Re: Wedding Theme Schizophrenia

I have a crazy idea - why dont you stick to the neutral theme - but add colors here and there - like have a neutral BM dress - and then add like a pink sash to the dresses - use those white casablanca lilies - but add the same pink as the dresses on the ribbon of the bo-k... it will match your theme - with just a bit of color! and it will wont be fighting with yourself so much ...

Good Luck Nina!

Nina,

O-m-G, I'm going through the same thing!! Excat same colors too, so weird, I love the neutrals for the romantic feel, I the tropics, for the alluring romance feel, I kinda feel like w/ a wedding ceremony & small reception in the tropics & the reception at Brindisi when we return, we'll get the best of both worlds....

Re: Wedding Theme Schizophrenia

Nina I agree with everyone else... Stick with your original idea. No reason to second guess yourself either! It will look classy and fabulous and can compliment both sides of the family (european and hispanic)

Just to add though- i love both ideas!!!!

This is where waiting til 07 kinda messes things up!!!
