SAMPLE #1: Our DIY Pocketfold Invites (w/ pics)!!!

What do you think??

We are already thinking of making a few changes... not sure I like the black thick line going around the direction & accom cards. Maybe a thinner line or a double line? Also, not sure of the bow we chose for the outside, maybe a thicker bow?

Tissue paper w/ our pic printed on it... hard to get a good pic of it.

ETA: Instructions/supplies!

I won't lie... it's a PITA, but we saved over $500 by doing them ourselves!!
We got the white invite cards & response cards from exclusivelyweddings.com.
Pocketfolds are from invitesbyyou.com.
We got the cardstockpaper (accom cards & Directions) from Staples and cut them to size w/ a paper cutter.
Ribbon & glue is from Michael's.

I love them!! I am doing black and Pink invitees as well. Where do you buy all the stuff to make them. Is it hard?

I don't think you need to make any changes, they are perfect. They look like you spend a fortune on them.

WOW JESS!!! I think they look AWESOME! My response date is the same hehehe! I am also unsure about the black border on the direction card, but without it I think it will be missing something. GREAT JOB!!

Look amazing. I think the lines look good on the RSVP and Accommodation card when they are in the pocketfold.

One small note - I think Accommodations has two ms, not one. Not sure!

piggybacking on your post:

We also went the DIY route w/invites. Had we bought them already made - they would've run us at least $8 per invite - we bought the supplies and it cost us $300 in total - saving us $500.
