Photo/Video and DJ

Hello Ladies!!
I am getting married June 2, 2007 and looking for a photo/video and DJ... Any suggestions?? I have no idea where to start...

Also, has anyone used, seen or booked Body Rock Ent as their DJ? Thinking I might go with them, but would like some opinions...

A lot of people on here (including myself) are using High Voltage for DJ. He has a great repuatation and is so nice!

I wouldn't rec my photo person to you so that is no good, but my video person is separate-Amore, also a vendor on this site. The videos we saw were amazing. Also, very nice guy to work with!

I am having a band but my brother/SIL booked with Xtreme Sound Entertainment...I've seen them at an showcase and they're awesome

For photo/video we used Lavendar Bridal Studio and liked the proofs/video. I think they are now a vendor on here.

Our DJ was Then Til Now, Steve was great

For Photo I would recommend PSFotography
For Video I would recommend Wild Rose
For DJ I would recommend Hi-Energy.

I have a ton of proofs in my reivew on the Brides Review Board.

Do a search of these boards. There are a TON of threads about Duet. I booked them for my wedding and they've gotten a bunch of positive reviews.

i would also reccommend Vinny from High Voltage, he is really nice and also Duet for photo/video

My most favorite vender of all...my DJ is Absolute Entertainment...LOVE THEM!!! Kevin, the owner, gave us so many awesome ideas!!! Our Photographer is Patken and Videographer is Fred Ford. Fred Ford has a business in his home, and he does awesome videography!

Well...for photo it depends on what you are looking for. I of course recommend my photographer and also a vendor on here...Timexposures. Jon is so nice and down to earth and his work is gorgeous!!!

For Video I recommend Ray from Timeless Treasures also a vendor on here. I think he's Great and so nice.

Read the Brides Review, I got so much good information from there.
It does take time I spent a few Weeks reading the reviews and writing down who is good and who is bad and why.

I'm using Hal from Full View Studios for photog/videography. I don't know what your budget is, but if you are looking for someone who is straight foward and very into his work, Hal's for you! He has a candid style, and likes to do 2-3 engagement shoots so you are comfortable infront of his camera. HTH!

im using duet for photo/video, and Five star DJ (they are located in rbooklyn, but go all over) for my music...good luck with your search and congrats!
