how far in advance...

do you go pick out your cake?? (we are using the house vendor of our hall.. black forrest bakery)

is now to early for april 07?

That's something you can do a couple of months before the wedding.

Usually you do that much closer to the wedding from my experiences with my sister's weddings. My sister who got married this past July picked her's out when they picked out their menu.

I don't know when you should book the cake. But I just wanted to let you know that the cakes from there are YUMMY!!!!!!!

We picked out our cake when we picked our menu options, which was 1 month before the wedding.

Black Forest is doing my cake too! They have a great selection...I'll probably do mine a couple of months before...I agree with Nina, I'll have everything done way before I need to!
