Did anyone else feel like this...
When my fiance and I saw the church last week for the first time, I got butterflies in my stomach. We walked through the doors, and we both walked down the aisle to where we'll be exchanging vows. I got so nervous. I turned around and saw where everyone will be sitting, staring at us. Wow, did I get nervous. Even when we were in the hallway by the doors, I was nervous. Picturing me standing there all dressed up, knowing all these people were in there waiting for me, and my honey at the end of the aisle... I don't know... I honestly felt like I couldn't do it. I'm a very shy person to begin with. It really freaked me out. If I hear the Wedding March, I get butterflies. I don't know, is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing this??? Don't get me wrong, I've been waiting to marry my man for 8.5 years. It's a dream come true, but just thinking of all the people looking at me... it's too much pressure!!! My fiance just kept laughing at me. He kept saying, 'You're so cute!' I'm afraid I'm going to screw something up. Mess the lines up, even worse, dropping his ring. HELP!!!

The wonderful thing about being a bride...
Is that no matter what you do, everyone will love it. If you mess up your lines, people will think its adorable. If you drop the rings, people will think, look how excited they are. Everyone will be wonderfully supportive! *HUGS* Don't worry too much -- as long as you and he both show up it will be perfect however it goes!

Exactly! No matter what happens, it will make your ceremony uniquely yours. Just think, you can tell your grandkids how nervous you were as you married their grandpa. After the wedding, it will be a cute story to tell.

Don't get so worried. If you are very shy then most of your loved ones know that about you. They will be very supportive the whole way down the aisle. Another help: pick another aisle song instead of Here Comes the Bride. That might not make you feel so nervous.

Did anyone else feel like this...Oh Yes I remember that
There were a few times prior to our wedding that it just really hit me. The first was the visit to the reception site to show my MIL, and the second was when we went to get our marriage license. Both those days threw me into a slight panic. But now after all I look back at our wedding day and wouldn't change a thing. Including messing up my lines... Relax and enjoy

I was fine til the RH. I was so nervous the day of. I thought I would be sick walking down the isle. I actually walked so fast I was dragging my dad and my photographer had to literally stop me so she could get a shot of us. All I wanted to do was get it over with. The best man thought I was going to pass out. He said I was hyperventilating (sp?). I dont remember that. But the minute we took each others hand and began our vows I melted like butter and all I could think of was how wonderful it felt to love and be loved in return. Now that I look back on it, it was the same feeling that I had when we went out on our first date. I was so nervous, and look how that turned out!!! So dont worry it will be one of the greatest moments in your life. No matter what happens.

Melissa, I have to admit I hate to be the center of attention and I try not to think about everyone looking at me! My FMIL said to me that I was princess for a day, it's MY day, and although Richie will be wearing a tux, everyone will be there for me. Argh. It hasn't sunk in yet.Welcome New Vendors
