what do you think about this for a FG gift???-UPDATED w/pics!!!!!

I ordered my FG's gifts yesterday!!! I know I have time, but came across them....

this is from macys.com
14K Gold Cultured Pearl Earrings (they are shipping next week, so i am hoping they are as nice in person)

and thanks to Alicia(johnsae) I ordered from amazon.com bride and groom ken and barbie dolls. My girls will be 3 and 2 1/2 at the wedding and figured they would love a barbie!!!!!

You know, I was going to get my FG some jewelry, but then I remembered that the only gifts I liked receiving at that age were toys. I want them to enjoy themselves and love what they get from me, so I got my FG the Bride Barbie and Groom Ken....and also a little book about being a FG.

I think they're cute! But, as the other poster said some kids might just want toys. I would check with FG's mother before making the purchase.

That's a great gift...how old is yours??

She is barely 3. I hope she likes them! They are so cute....Ken comes dressed in a Tux and Barbie is in a huge poofy gown and it comes with a fake cake. So cute and I got the set on Ebay for $19.99.

I got mine a trinket box from things remembered with a purple butterfly on it and a matching pin. my FG is 4 but shes very mature- (mani's & Pedi's ) every week and a half. I wanted to give her something that she can keep out in her room for a while- I know she will love it- I also got her a jewelry set for that day and a Personalized Tote! ( I think I went overboard) but shes my cousins child and were close
