sheriden in Kauai

anyone have any reviews? The Travel agent said that that he has heard mixed reviews on this hotel. anyone ever stay there?

i'm in your boat, girl. I'm kind of hesitant about the Sheraton, but at the same time, don't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money.

Yeah, its such a tough decision. REally the difference is probably a little less the a $1,000 what is that considering the whole expense of the wedding and honeymoon together.

I was in Kauai this past November and stayed at the Marriott which is right down the street. I saw the Sheraton and it seemed very nice. The beach at the Sheraton is also supposed to be the nicest in that part of Kauai.
Kauai is GORGEOUS and you will love wherever you decide to stay. There is an outside shopping mall close by and tons of things to do.

we booked the sheraton kauai

i have a family friend who went there

just be careful b/c if you get a waterview you have to realize there is a street between some the sheratonan and the beach, so it is oceanview but with a road

some rooms are beachfront

just ask

but my friend loved it

we booked the SHeraton plus we heard the same thing as posted above that it has one of the best beaches Poipu beach!

we went july29-aug1
room 1248

we went and our room as amazing. we got a deluxe oceanfront. It was completely renovated we had brand new everything. Our view was phenomenal we were right one the water

DO NOT STAY IN THE GARDEN WING IT IS NOT RENOVATED!
Also do not go to their luau. It rained when we went so it went indoors even if it was outdoors it was very hokey and more of a comedy. Spend Money elsewhere and their food was $$ although the by the pool restaurant thing had GOOOOOD NACHOS!

The pools were decent alot of kids though ( i didnt mind) and there was a small hot tub. But it is on the beach

if u d pick the garden wing u are not close to the water u will have to cross a street to get to the pools and ocean
