Invite question

If someone already said they cannot come to the wedding, do you still send them an invite? Or would that just seem as though you are asking for a gift?

oh yes. my cousin will be giving birth in May and my wedding is in June. She lives in CA so she definitely won't be able to fly with a new born. But I still sent her an STD and will be sending her an invite. It's just polite.

i don't think you should send them an invite then. i think it could be interpreted as you looking for a gift.

Things change. Just because someone says they can't make it, doesn't mean their plans won't change to enable them to attend. Definitely send an invite.
