For those of you doing wine favors...

how are you wrapping them, and are you attaching any kind of card or note??? I'm not really sure what to do with ours... please help.

We're going to be doing wine favors and we're having special labels made and that's what we'll have on it. Haven't decided on bags yet. Maybe something clear.

Our wine favors are going to be wraped and come with a personalized tag. We got them off of ebay. We copied and pasted a copy of a label we got off of a website that allowed us to view how it would look like personalized and are going to print it out and attach it to the bottles.

We're getting ours from Lucas Vineyards - it's an upstate vineyard we both fell in love with while in school upstate. They do personalized labels for free and they have various wines priced pretty low ($6-8/bottle, plus an additional 20% off if you order by the case). We're doing a bottle/couple so the wine itself was within our budget. The shipping made them kind of pricey, but this vineyard had special meaning for us, so we decided to go for it anyway. You can always pick up the cases yourselves, but it's about a 4 hour drive from the city.

My dad actually found them when he did a search on the internet. He's REALLY good at finding things like that.

we're not wrapping them, the vineyard is making labels for the bottles with our picture on them. and the date...etc.

We're giving wine bottles and wine stoppers. Here's a mock-up of what we're doing:

We placed them in organza bags. Pictures and details in my review, which is posted on The Bride's Review board. We didn't do labels as the vineyard (Pugliese) hand painted a message, our names and wedding date.
