Suggestions on New York City picture locations

Can anybody please reccomned a place in New York City that we can take pictures. Preferbly we'd like a place that we can have indoor and outdoor access in case of any weather problem . We were thinking of places like Grand Central or the Winter Gardens/ World financial canter. If you have some other ideas, let us know. Also let us know if there are any permits or fees needed.

Oooh, the Winter Garden at the World Financial Center is very pretty.

We took engagement pics in Grand Central. If you call ahead of time, they give you a permit to take pictures from a special area.

Also, their is a beautiful lounge called Top of the Tower where you can see much of the city from that might work (no cover here which is why i recommend it over the Marquis.)
