A promise to my FH... This turned out to be a little long...

Originally, i told him after New Years I wouldn't go on the computer at night because we hardly spend any time together... but you know how things go - I was doing work on the computer, would start surfing, wind up here, and then he'd gravitate to his video games....

We had a long talk last night about other stuff, discussed how limited our time has been, and he said - thatas it - no more computer at night! I'm like - well fine - no more videos at night...

It was agreed - so - you ladies won't see me on here at night- unless he is out that night...

I told him why I'm on here so much - because this kind of thing just isn't like me - I never was drawn to chat rooms or forums or stuff like that...

I have been so busy and so stressed - I lost touch with so many of my friends either because we have gone different ways, or our schedules don't mesh...

My entire day I travel from school to school, and deal with stressed ot school teams, and children with verbal problems... I get back to my office, and everyone is busy doing clinical stuff, and we rarely get to shmooze or chit chat... If we do, its very quick, and we have to get back to what we were doing... then, I have hours of notes and reports to right, and materials to prepare... Then I have to prepare for my Saturday job, which takes a lot out of me...

I come home late, FH comes home late - on a couple nights, he's busy with the girls - having them do HW, making them dinner, etc - it's his only time to be with them, and I don't want to take that away from them, because I was a stepdaughter and i know how it feels wanting time with your dad....

It's been so easy to come on here and make quick connections with you girls - plus, we all have somehting in common, and thats another thing - I don't have a lot of people to talk about this stuff with...

I am sick at home again today because I pushed myself to the max... And I am still thinking about the issues I had to talk to FH about... I even told him a little about why I go on here so much - can you believe LIW managed to get discussed in a serious pre-marital discussion?

I am in the same boat....I spend too much time on the computer and not enough time with FH. It will get better. Hope you feel better soon.

i'm hardly ever on here at night but you should repost or bump this later in the day so the night crew will hold you to it and yell at you if they see you on at night!

Aww Liza, you need to do what's right for you and FH!! We love having you here but we don't want LIW to make trouble in your relationship! We're not going anywhere, spend time with FH and then we'll be here when you get back!!

Ladies - I love you - LOVE you guys, really - but it's not YOU guys getting in the way - i mean, i could have been drawn to any stupid thing on the internet (as opposed to the intelligence running rampant here on LIW!) - the problem is, i was losing myself in surfing on the net instead of talking with him about issues - I would never say it was you guys that got in the way!!!

Us late night ladies will miss you, but you're probably making a wise decision. Savor your time with FH in the evening. Backrubs are an incentive to spending time together, in my experience.
