**UPDATE: I called Macys**Registry Poll: Would you change registry from 1 store to antoher b/c China was cheaper?

Okay, I have registries @ Bed, Bath and Beyond, Macy's and Kohls (the last one was for my mom, she LOVES that store).

When first engaged we had a registry @ Fortunoffs but then changed over to Macy's.

Our china is $70/ place setting CHEAPER at Fortunoffs than Macys.

Oh, and it's $200 @ Macys, $130 @ Fortunoff and $128 @ Bed, Bath & Beyond. All per place setting.

Would you keep it or change stores?

I don't want to completely give up my Macy's registry b/c we are part of the Star Rewards program, and we've been reeping the benefits already!

Thanks!

ETA: Called Macy's-it's only $200 online, in store it's $129-same as Fortunoff. And they do price match, just need to bring in advertisement or print out from website w/ lower price and they will match it!!!!!

Re: Registry Poll: Would you change registry from 1 store to antoher b/c China was cheaper?

Definitely change it if it's that much cheaper.

That's the reason why I registered at Fortunoff to begin with. My cousin was registered at Macy's and his china was 1/2 the price at Fortunoff.

ETA: If you are just doing the China on your Fortunoff Registry, why don't you move it to the one at BB&B. I know not all stores have the China but, you can order it from in the store or online.

Re: Registry Poll: Would you change registry from 1 store to antoher b/c China was cheaper?

My china was cheaper at Fortunoff's and so I registered there and when we had our engagement party we received most of it because the price was so good- so I say change it

Re: Registry Poll: Would you change registry from 1 store to antoher b/c China was cheaper?

I listed my china at Fortunoff and then listed it as well in BBB because they matched the price and said you could use the coupons. Fortunoff ended up being the better deal because of the bonuses.

I would keep the 4 registries, because you can give everyone a choice of where to shop.....

I was thinking of doing this.

But I don't want to look greedy w/ 4 registries.

I only listed a few items when I went to Macy's, and I only had my china, glassware and flatware for Fortunoff. Then I did BBB, so it an't like we went crazy at each one....

Re: Registry Poll: Would you change registry from 1 store to antoher b/c China was cheaper?

I would change it - anyway you can have your guests save money is great. You may just want to put in on at BBB and can have someone spread the word about it at Fortunoff's

Re: Registry Poll: Would you change registry from 1 store to antoher b/c China was cheaper?

JMO - I would ask Macy's to match the price, and if they don't I would switch to Fortunoff's. You will most likely get more of the set if they are cheaper rather then just getting a few pieces of the set and then having to buy it for yourself.

Re: **UPDATE: I called Macys**Registry Poll: Would you change registry from 1 store to antoher b/c China was cheaper?

MACY's price matches everything. I had guests call MACY's with gifts they wanted to purchase at Fortunoff. MACY's calls Fortunoff to confirm the price and then they give it to you. You also get reward points at MACY's so its worth it. I also think the customer service at MACY's is much better. No need to change.

These two things are the BIGGEST reasons I didn't want to give up Macy's.
