If you don't mind me asking....

ballpark... how much are you paying for tux rentals?

We are trying to figure out if we want to have our guys rent or buy a decent suit for under $200. And I'm just not ready to go to shops yet and ask and they are useless over the phone! But I liked dealing with the guy at Macy's to buy suits!

FH didn't want his guys to break the bank. We're getting a basic one-button tux, w/ vest and regular (not bow) tie. It's $99, plus $10 refundable deposit.

The polls are looking like my thought of $199 suits may be a good option.

I guess there's not too many $75 prom specials any more.

Over $200...and DH wanted them so the guyspaid but they weren't ecstatic...I had no input since they were his brothers...but yes, they looked very handsome.

I saw that $49 ad... but there has to be some kind of catch! MW is going to be one of the first places we look, so I will check it out. I think After Hours has some kind of $49 deal too.

i dun remmeber how much exactly but i think they suits were about $300 each. i had two differenct wedding dates so i figure if i were to rent twice plus a gift.. $300 would be worth it. we got the suits at Mens Wearhouse, but IMO, you could get better and nicer suits at Century21 or SYMS for cheaper.
