NWR: Confessions of a former low rise junkie (yes - I was a junkie there too!)

I used to only wear low rise for years - but I recently bought a pair of normal jeans - and I LOOOOVE them!!! I wear them every day when I come home - I look so good in them - they are so slimming... and its so nice to sit down or lean over and not have to do the 'hitch and wriggle' ahead of time to spare the world from my thong or worse - butt crack!!!


Anyone with me on this???

I am totally with you on this!! I used to think I looked better in anything low rise...but I recently bought myself a couple pair of 'normal' rise jeans and I think they look soooo much better on me!! Need to re-do my wardrobe I guess!! FH is gonna LOVE that!!

I thought I was the only one - I have been wearing LR for... oh m god - at least 5 years!!!

and I kept going lower and lower - I think the next move would have been to just wear my jeans around my ankles and call it a day...

I am very happy that low rise is out,,,,,,,,,,I used to love them too, but I recently bought regular jeans recently too and it's nice to not have the 'love handle' issue any longer!

Unfortunately , I am staring to get upset that low rise jeans are becoming harder and harder to find. Because of my body type (tiny waist, and big ol' butt) I always had a hard time finding jeans that fit my waist and butt at the same time. Usually, when they fit my butt, the waist was huge!! So I wore boys levi's for a while which are low waisted. When the low rises became popular, I was in heaven!! I must say, I will wear them as long as I can!!!

I have the same issue...a little waist & big old butt/thighs...I'll have to stock up on low rise....

That is my body shape too - small waist, curvy hips - and I got a pair of jeans off the bargain rack at american eagle and am looooving them!!!
