Had a great time dress shopping

had so much fun dress shopping today. We have a few pics and some secret video. I think I found the one I'm going to order. I loved the Lazaro dress and I actually got to meet him! It was so surreal meeting the man who designed the dress I searched for for so many months.

As much as I LOVED the Lazaro and felt amazing (a few other brides and people at Kleinfeld's said so too). I knew that the scale of wedding we're having would not work with a 14 layer skirt. It was fabulous and ornate but not suitable for our venue or the kind of wedding we're having. I love the other dress though and really loved the way it felt on me. Here's a pic of the front.

Oh wow...not only are you beautiful...but both those dresses are amazing!!! Which one did you like better?

LMAO because I was 19 on the try on list at RK and they were doing like 2 brides every half hour. So my friends hid me and I tried them on over my clothes right in the racks.

Thanks Missg. Actually when I tried it on again, in an actual changing room, we saw that the back has a lot of details on the butt and I'm not trying to draw attention to that!

Nina: thanks so much! I adored the Lazaro and if it would work for our wedding I would get it but it's huge. I have like a 4ft. turning radius with the train. I will probably get the one from the second video. It's an Angelina Faccenda dress.

Your choice is very nice.

- THAT MANY BRIDES AT ONCE! OM - I went to my shop and I was the only one there for 2 hours today! Sometimes living in a small area does work!

oh you are right but I needed to find a place that had the Lazaro and another one that sold the Angelina Faccenda. Most of the places in LI didn't have either designer or even both. I am glad I went though. I only tried on about 5 dresses and that was fron 11 am-12pm. There were so many women in RK seriously at least 50 women. Some were in the accessories section, bridesmaids section, getting dresses and others were getting their alterations done. So crazy.
