Who pays for MOH hair/make-up?

I need to know who usually pays for the MOH hair and make-up.

We only opted for 1 best man and 1 matron of honor.

It's usually her unless you want to be generous.

Generally, the BP is expected to pay for their own clothes, shoes, hair, etc. I think that it's nice, though, if you're requiring them to get their hair done to pay of it, if you can.

I will have the hair/make up done at the ceremony site and my MOH is helping for the final arrangements.

Since I am considering paying for my mom and sister I did not want to make her feel left out. Especially if she is helping me with last decorations while I am being made up.

DILEMA!!!!!!

they typically pay themselves

I offered to pay part of their makeup (I am NOT requiring it, but they all wanted it. WE then found out that hair would be a lot of money.They are all OOT and have hotels to pay for , their dress, gifts, plus hair and makeup and I thought it would be a lot...esp. since two are still in school. SO it is really up to you

I only had 1 BM and 1 MOH, as part of their gift from me, I paid for their hair and makeup.

I wish I could pay for my BP's hair and makeup..but there is going to be about 8 girls..so I can not afford to do thast and get them gifts! If i had only one on each side, I would.

We are also having only a MOH and BM. I'm paying for my mom's make-up.. she is my MOH. If I had a friend as my MOH I would still pay for my mom and maybe not for the MOH then!

My bridesmaids are pating for their own hair and i am footing the bill for their makeup

Both my MOH are paying for themselves. But I did buy the dress for one of my MOH (secretly to the other girls) because she's putting her first kid into college and is a single mom. That was my choice though. When you say yes to being a bridesmaid or MOH, you shouldn't expect anything to be paid for. (ie: dress, hair, make-up) The only time you should pay for it is if you require them to get it done.

Generally they pay for their own. I'm paying for my MOH make-up as her 'extra' gift for being in the bp.
