rockville center diocese

does anyone know the rules about getting married at the diocese. i would love to be married there but I am not part of the parish. I was told that because it is a diocese anyone can get married there. ANy insight?

Do you mean the cathedral? The diocese is like a school district for churches. The diocese covers the whole island. If you are talking about St. Agnes Cathedral in RVC you can call their rectory office at (516) 766-0205 or check out thier website St. Agnes Cathedral .

I believe that you can get married at St. Agnes. A friend of mine got married there and she goes to church in East Rockaway.

Supposedly at St.Agnes at least one of the people are supposed to be from RVC. They changed it a couple yrs ago b/c it was getting too crowded and people who did live there were getting shut out. But you can always call and ask.
