Placecard holders doubling as favor?

Anyone do this or plan on doing this? How are you letting guests now it is also a favor?

we are giving that along with a candy jar, but I am sure when they dont see anything else they will know that is there favor

we're probably putting the placecards in a 'bell' placecard holder, to be used as the kissing bells for the tables, but then we're going to have a separate favor as well. (the kissing bell, table card holders are less than a buck each, and we're putting a scratch off lottery ticket behind the placecards, too).

I'm not doing this but I've been to plenty of weddings where this was done. I think it's a nice gesture and you kill two birds with one stone.

i went to a wedding where the placecards were in pretty frames that were also the favors.

I'm doing this. It's a tea light candle holder that is in itself a placecard holder. Nothing else will be at the tables except a camera, so I would assume people would get the idea.
