Honeymoon ideas in late August/early September?
Our wedding is in June, but b/c I am starting a new job, and have to wait 6 months for vacation time, we won't be able to go on a honeymoon until late August/early September. We wanted to go to a Sandals resort and spa deal in Carribean (Antigua, St. Lucia, Turks & Caicos etc.), but does anyone know if the weather on the islands is good then? We can't afford Hawaii, and we go to Florida to see relatives 1/year. And, we really just want a beach, getaway, romantic, relaxing trip. Thank in advance for ideas.

I was in Antigua at Sandals last Aug and even though it was hurricane season the weather was beautiful. The only thing I would well you is that it is low season that time of year at Sandals Antigua and they dont have as much staff that time of year because of that and therefore, only a quarter of each restaurant was open, if open at all.

I'm going to Aruba after my Sept. 8th wedding
Aruba is only hit by a hurricane once a decade, so I think my chances are good for great weather! It rarely rains there, and the food and nightlife is wonderful!

02Bride......where are you staying? And,
are you concerned about the off season thing and lack of staffing like Cindy mentioned? Is it a romantic place? Well, it's good to know that Hurricanes are not that common there.

My parents are giving me a time share and I'm not quite sure where I'll be staying. I've heard good things about the Marriot. I'm not really concerned with lack of staffing. My aunt and uncle go off-season every year and they absolutely love it there. I'm looking for a low-key place and even if there aren't many restaurants open, the ones that are should be delicious!

We've been going to Aruba for 10 years...
and own a time share at Dutch Village. There is never an 'off' season because of the great weather all year round. Mike & I spent the first week of our honeymoon there in September. There is so much to do and so many great hotels & restaurants. No matter where you choose to stay, you will not be disappointed. If I can help in any way, my e-mail is [email protected] Good luck!! Can I recommend a timeshare for you? It is Paradise Beach Villas, located on Eagle Beach. It is next door to LaCabana. It is beautiful, low key, intimate and great. My mom owns there. The only reason we are staying in a hotel is b/c you aren't guaranteed to stay at your home resort when you swap weeks. We wouldn't find out where we were staying until a month prior. Their website is www. paradisebeachvillas.com if you want to check it out. Email me with any questions you might have, as well. Good luck!Welcome New Vendors
