Engagment Party Ideas

What unique ideas has anyone done at their engagment party? I don't know what to have a centerpieces, favors, or something like a collage?? any ideas or pics would be great!

I had mine over the summer - casual, backyard party. It was great!

I made up a 30 minute powerpoint presentation w/ music starting w/ our baby pics & growing up & we had pics of us w/ every person at the e=party & then up until we met & recent pics. It played continuously in the background throughout the night & it was a huge hit.

I also had used confoti on each of the tables, big confetti but it has pictures in the middle of it. Hard to explain, check out the site: confoti.com

We also made up special cards for our b-party & handed them out that night (asking them to be in our wedding party) & we had a book for our fgs & ringbearer & a card & handed it to them also.

We did balloon CP..I thought they would be cheesy..but they were so beautiful...we had them done by Sandys party supply in Franklin Square, I also gave out 'Wedding Day' candles from Yankee Candle to each of my BM...and made tags that went on them saying..thank you for being a part of my day or something
