$550 for Chocolate Fountain... NOT including goodies?

Isn't that a bit much?! Anyone have better prices that include the goods? I could have sworn I saw people say it was about $400. I was speechless when the woman said $550 without the dippings! Yikes!

that sounds high for no dipping items. is that a quote from your hall? if so, try and negotiate with them.

That is high. I got a venetian hour so it was included but if I didn't the catering hall would have given it to us for $450 w/fruits, pretzels, ect.

That is alot! My hall provides one with the goods for $500. I am getting it, but I wouldn't pay more then $500 for it. How much is Audreys bakery?

My hall doesn't offer it...

. That was from Shokalad in Mineola. I have to look around. Audrey's bakery does it? Great.. I'll call them tomorrow. THank you.

Ours is with our place but we have a bit of a hook up I guess. I am still adding some extra goodies like rice crispy treats, pretzels and chocolate chip cookies!!! They do a spread of fruit and marshmallows I think.

It depends on how many people you have. I thought most places do it per person.

I would go to Costco or BJ Warehouse and buy a chocolate fountain (my mom just did this for my bridal shower) for $69.00 and buy the chocolate and have them set it. Save yourself $$$$.
