Re: Anyone here eat tofu?
You could use it in a stir fry substituting the chicken or beef.

I love tofu! I usually get 'the firmer' kind cut it up cook it on the stove w/ a little PAM, soy sauce, and lots of crushed red pepper - I like my food spicey.

If you are going to use it as a replacement for meat (i.e. in chili) then you must freeze it first, then defrost. It will stay together better.

Re: Anyone here eat tofu?
I usually buy firm tofu. I take it out and drain it then put it in a bowl and cover it with a towel. I then place another heavy plate/bowl on top of the tofu and let it sit in the fridge overnight. Then I slice it, marinate it in soy and teriyaki sauce with a little hoison and chilli sauce. Then I bake it for about 20 min. Then I can use it in stirfrys, sandwiches or just eat it.A lot of stores sell tofu that has already been baked and season and is ready to just add to your stirfry.

Re: Anyone here eat tofu?
I buy pre-marinated tofu (because I'm lazy) and chop it up and add it to stir fried veggies and rice. Yum!I also make tofu scramble in the morning (on weekends), instead of eggs.
My mom used to marinade slices of tofu and broil it in the toaster oven. The marinade was soy sauce, ginger, garlic, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil I think. So yummy you could eat them alone or with rice or chopped up in a salad.
Amazon has lots of tofu cookbooks: Amazon, search: Tofu
