Re: what's everyone's menu?

I have so much to choose from it is insane. I think I get 6 or 8 choices for dinner, the cocktail hour choices are about 10 pages long.
I am going to sit down with FH closer to the wedding and go over what we want.

Re: what's everyone's menu?

Oh boy! This is the fun part to me!
I have to choose from this:

COCKTAIL HOUR
12 passed hors d'oeuvres
10 hot dishes
2 pasta stations
3 Carving stations
included sushi bar
cold platters
DINNER
APP - I think I am going with tower of fresh mozz with grilled eggplant, tomato, roasted red peppers.
SALAD- Spring mix
SOUP - New Englad Clam Chowder
DINNER: (I think this is what I am choosing out of the humongo list)
1- Prime Rib (FH's fav)
2-Chicken a la Principessa
3-Veal Marsala or Veal medallion
4-torn between Salmon or Tuna.
5-probably go with Pasta Primavera for my 2 vegatarian guests.
Then cake and chocolate mousse for dessert!

Re: what's everyone's menu?

It’s so funny because I actually asked the same question yesterday and no chose their menu yet. I already did everything because it actually helped the manager determine my price per plate. Here it is let me know what you think…

Cocktail Hour:
3 carving stations (Filet Minon, Lamb Chop and Ham)
2 pasta stations
Seafood Salad
Fountain of Shrimp
3 Hot Seafood Platters (Fried Calamari, Baked Claims and Tripe)
Sausage and Bracolirabe
Stuffed Veal
Stuffed Mushrooms
And a table of all imported cheeses, crackers, peppers, olives, breads and salads

Main Course:
Pineapple fruit boat
3 Choice Pasta (Penne, Rigatoni Filteo, Linguini with claims)
Salad
Intermenzo
3 Choice Main (Chicken Cordon Blu FH’s favorite, Filet Minon and Shrimp)
Cake, coffee and Viennese tables.

same goes for me and I know Nina would agree we have 3 carving stations at our cocktail hour and my mom wants to give us the $$$ to get the lobster added too 11 choices for entree and a venetian hour that includes a doughnut machine, crepes, omelettes, cotton candy, 2 chocolate fountains, NY pretzels etc...I keep telling FH our guests are gonna have to be carried out of the hall because they'll be too full to walk

Re: what's everyone's menu?

I have a ton of food too! I can't even remember everything that we're getting for the cocktail hour.

For dinner, we decided on the combined salad/app course. We're getting a salad with grilled salmon on it. Guests have a choice of 5 different entrees. Right now we're doing:
1. Mahi Mahi
2. Scrimp Scampi
3. Prime Rib
4. Chicken of some sort
5. Veggie Lasagna rollups

Plus we have cake and an ice cream sundae bar!!
