GRRR..The Nerve of some people

Ok, now I need to vent.... As if me having to push my wedding a month so that I can accommodate my guest coming from overseas wasn't enough, yesterday my father got a call from his sister to BS about the wedding and their trip. That's great, it makes me happy to know that they are excited to be coming to my wedding.
Buuuut somewhere along the line of the conversation, my aunt dished it out to my father that her daughter wants to be in the bridal party and he felt bad to say no sooo he was just like "we'll see!" So then my aunt said that she is bringing a friend on the trip too so she would have to be a BM too.
Needless to say....I HIT THE ROOF!!!!.
ok fine I think I could squeeze my cousin in the wedding party and still that would be really hard to do considering she has to get fitted for her dress but there are ways around that....but who the F*&% is her friend? And why would people expect me to use her as BM in my wedding....
Thank God I have my step-mom on my side and she told my dad to tell his sister to get her head out of her a$$...

OMG!!!

Your 100% right - to include your cousin is OK - but to include your cousins freind - who is someone that you dont know and never met? thats a little demanding!!!

Cousin ok and still not ok if you are not comfortable with it, but the friend BIG NEGATIVE!

I don't blame you for being pissed at all.

I would suggest if your cousin wants to bring her friend, maybe she should not be in the bridal party so she can stay with her.

I don't mean to be rude but honestly the nerve of some people. I have heard it all and I still don't beleive it. Stick to your guns. Have your dad call your aunt and tell her no way for the friend and whatever you decide about your cousin is utimately your choice, obviously. Still IMO it's rude for someone to ask you to be included in YOUR wedding.

That makes absolutely no sense to have a total stranger in your wedding. I can't believe your aunt even said something like that.

You choose whoever you want and if you don't even want your cousin then you don't even have to pick her either.

WHAT!!! OMG I don't blame you I wouldn't have just hit the roof, I would have went through it! No one has any right or reason to dictate who you should have in your bridal party. Bridal party attendants should be people that have made an impact on your life and will continue to be a part of your and FH's life in the future. I can understand making room for your cousin but their friend??? You're nice enough to allow the friend to come to the wedding..I'm actually annoyed for you!

Honestly my wedding party is big enough...i'll keep you guys posted but I think im going to tell everyone including my cousin that it is just not possible!! They can come if they want as guests ONLY!!!

She's got a set of balls on her to even ask that you put her daughter's friend in your wedding..ESP when you don't KNOW HER!!! Asking about your cousin is one thing, which is ok.. but the friend??

Honey, it's your wedding.. they should be lucky you invited them with a friend to begin with..
It's your call, but personally for me, I probably wouldn't bend about adding the cousin.. JMO

I didn't read the rest of the posts, but I would tell them all to stay home. And tell your dad to stop talking about the wedding-period. He is not allowed to make decisions on your behalf. This is not an 8 yera olds birthday party-this is a grown up event.

If they don't like it they can BITE ME!!!!!!

That is so crazy. I feel like saying to some people did you bend backwards for everyone when you got married and of course they would say no and then us brides can say okay can you please stop that and let us plan our wedding. Geez this is why we want to run off to vegas sometimes.

This is yours and your FH's wedding and all that matters is the two of you. I wish you so many wishes.
