wedding-related stress?-UPDATE
I have been feeling REALLY run down - I just don't feel like doing anything, and am ALWAYS tired, even when I wake up. I am also getting headaches every day.I went to the Dr. today and she asked me if I was depressed- if work was ok (yes) if my relationship with FH was ok (yep) - don't think I am depressed. She took a PG test
(negative- whew). She took some blood and wants me to go for a CT-scan.ANYWAY - my mom is convinced I am just stressed out about the wedding, moving, etc. Has anyone else had these kind of symptoms? I don't feel particularly stressed out.
UPDATE!!!
So the Dr. called me back with my test results, and it turns out I have mono!
There's nothing I can even do about it except wait for it to go away!
At least I am know I am not crazy and have an explanation for how I have been feeling.

Re: wedding-related stress?
You probably are just stresses with all the wedding stuff. My wedding is not until Sept and I already feel that way.

Re: wedding-related stress?
Yep. Last night was the first time in a long time that I came home and plopped on the couch. It seems that I've been moving and moving and moving and my head has been thinking miles a minute. I moved in January which took awhile, now have a longer commute, and work has been crazy and I was just exhausted. It hasn't been so much wedding related, since we have time for that still but, it's been a little bit of everything!I'm starting to feel less exhausted.

Re: wedding-related stress?
I think it could be that for you!!!!There is a lot going on and the closer you get, it'll get more time-consuming.
The best thing is to do what you can, when you can and then take a day off to do stuff just for yourself.
I just keep reminding my self how BORED I'll be at this time in April....Everything can be accomplished and we have to react positively on things....
I say, take a mental health day and go get a pedicure!

Re: wedding-related stress?
I agree - stress. I have been very down lately too - b/c thats all I've been concentrating on. I think our bodies tell us when we're doing too much. Try to take some time to relax and do something for yourself. I got out of the slump a little two weeks ago, when i took myself for breakfast, bought a magazine, and just chilled for half the day. Feel better!

Re: wedding-related stress?
i see your wedding date- looks like invitation time!-same for me- my blood has been boiling for 2 weeks over this stuff, and i get so stressed that in addition to headaches and migraines, I give myself IBS pretty much instantly - right at the onset of stresssaturday i was VERY sick- and i think it was all stress related

Re: wedding-related stress?
The thing is I am not doing running around and stuff for the wedding at all. I take time for myself all the time. I just sit and veg out in front of the TV or read a book or just go to sleep. I used to go to the gym when I got home at night and wanted to do things over the weekend, now I just don't want to do anything.

Re: wedding-related stress?
sometimes you can be stressed without knowing it.. it sort of creeps up on you... unconsciously you may be uptight or worrying and your conscious mind isn't picking up on it... I know it's bizarre but many people have written about it... it's a coping mechanism actually....... your conscious mind is protecting you and letting you get through your day..... they might be catching up with eachother...it's good to relax when you can and stay in the moment... get lots of sleep... and the gym is great for this.. try to get there!!!!! call me if you feel like complaining... i'm sure I can relate!!!!!!!!

Re: wedding-related stress?
That's so funny, cuz I've been feeling that same way for the past two weeks, and we've only been engaged for 3! I go to school full time, work part time, and do some other stuff on the side. Especially since we decided to book an October 2006 wedding I am shot! But with help from the FH and my mom, and a few tears, things are going ok :). It happens to everyone!

Re: wedding-related stress?
Yeah, with 4 months left, I am starting to feel the stress for the first time. All I think about is what I have to do for the wedding, on top of everyday things. I always have a list of things, every week. This is what you are feeling!!

Re: wedding-related stress?
You may be stressed about the wedding...but glad you are going to the doctor anyway because it's too soon to tell. once the tests come back negative, then you can say stress. Don't be too worried though. It's a rough time of year, you could be just comong down w/ something. I actually have been feeling the same way, but I know it's stress. I'm in grad school, working, planning a wedding, and FH is in a new career and we don't have a lot of $$$. It's natural, if it is stress. Make some time for yourself...non-wedding related.
