Re: wedding-related stress?-UPDATE at bottom!

this is our bodies way of telling us that we are stressed...weddings/moving take more out of us then we realize.

take it easy for a few days, if you can.

I think it could be that for you!!!!

There is a lot going on and the closer you get, it'll get more time-consuming.

The best thing is to do what you can, when you can and then take a day off to do stuff just for yourself.

I just keep reminding my self how BORED I'll be at this time in April....Everything can be accomplished and we have to react positively on things....

I say, take a mental health day and go get a pedicure!

agree, both my sisters were stressed while planning a wedding.

Re: wedding-related stress?-UPDATE at bottom!

Feel better and get some rest! But at least it must be a relief to know what is going on.

Re: wedding-related stress?-UPDATE at bottom!

I used to be the same way, went to the gym everyday always doing something, but after buying the house and getting married, I think my body is just shot. I too went for blood work and an ecocardiogram because I was having chest pain. Luckily everything came out okay, I guess stress just effects us differently.

Oh man. I had mono in college - it wears you out like no other. I tried to work through it and just kept getting worse. My best advice is take a few days off and do NOTHING, just relax in bed and eat well. Hopefully a few days of serious R&R will heal you right up.

I agree!!!

I had epstein barr ( which is from the mono virus) and I was bed ridden. It was Horrible!!!

You need to RELAX and do NOTHING!!!
If you run yourself down it will get worse.

Eat well and rest!!

I hope you feel better!!

UPDATE!!!

So the Dr. called me back with my test results, and it turns out I have mono!
There's nothing I can even do about it except wait for it to go away!
At least I am know I am not crazy and have an explanation for how I have been feeling.

Oh no...mono??? That stinks, but I can see how you're feeling relieved by your diagnosis. Take it easy and I hope you begin feeling better soon!

Re: wedding-related stress?-UPDATE at bottom!

yes!!! I am never sick and for the past few months I have been getting sick non stop. It gets better then it gets worse, for the past 3 months this has been going on. I have been stressed before but it has never affected me this way, it's because it is emotional stress, the worst kind! I feel your pain, always exhausted. I wake up, go to work, think about wedding, come home think about wedding, I can't even sleep because I am thinking about this wedding. I am exhausted!

Yeah... I am still going to work for right now, but not doing any of the things I was doing after work (volunteering, gym, etc). I will see how it goes, if I have to I will take a few days off.
I asked the Dr. if I shouldn't be doing anything and she said if I can tolerate work, then its fine and that exercise will make me feel better?
She said I should take vitamins... If I am not feeling better soon I will def. take some days off, I can't take this being sooo tired all the time. i'll have to talk to my supervisor at work today and let her know whats going on.
