Registering Question

Did anyone register yet? I'm not sure what to do. We got engaged in August and are having a July 2007 wedding. As of right now we have not registered. We alread had an engagement party in October. When do you think a good time to register is? I didn't want to do it too soon because I want to make sure they are still going to carry the style next year. I'm also afraid that my style might change by then. What is everyone doing???

We registered about two months ago...
We got engaged in December; have an April '07 wedding.

We registered bc some family members and family friends were asking and wanted to buy engagement gifts (we are not having an E Party)

I think when you register, esp for crystal and china, it should have a style that will last forever, and not change from year to year...

As for everything else, styles change

I guess its up to you!

:)

Re: Registering Question

FH and I actually opened our registry at Bed Bath and Beyond tonight. The thing is we are not giving anyone the registry info yet. We just started and figured we can take our time and slowly add the things we want. And the best part with most places is that you can add/subtract right online. You dont even need to go to the store. And to check on it (to see if soemthing has been discotinued) is just as easy. Things like bedding i might not add b/c they come out with new styles every season but pots and cookware and stuff doesnt change a hell of a lot. Then next year maybe jan. or so we will finalize it and give the info. to my BM and such so that they can give it out for the shower. But like everything else we are getting an early start to avoid last minute crammed stress! That way we may just have to update and readjust a little.....not go nuts.

Re: Registering Question

We got engaged in June and registered in October (I think). We did it after our eparty. We registered so soon because we are asking our families to purchase things off of them for Christmas and birthdays.

Re: Registering Question

We got engaged in August and registered in September. Our e-party was in November so we wanted to do before than.
We will eventually register again but not for awhile.

Re: Registering Question

We started already. I have already gotten a few gifts off of it since we are not having an e-party.
