A little upset right now

I just found out over email from my sister that my grandmother had 2 eye surgeries last week and is having another one tomorrow! I spoke to my father the other day and he didn't mention it at all. I am hoping it's not that serious, but I can't believe I didn't know. Now I am worried... and no one is picking up the phone there.

I love my grandmother so much...

I hope your grandmother is okay! I know how you feel about not being told. My parents have a habit of not telling me right away when someone in my family needs surgery or even dies (I missed my grandmother's funeral because I was at college and they didn't tell me until too late

)

Most likely my grandmother didn't want us to worry. My sisters didn't even know about it- including one that lives there! She found out after my father and grandmother came home late at night and my grandmother had her eyes covered.

I am going to guess that your grandma just doesn't want to worry anyone! I am sure if it is something serious, you will be told!!!
