Re: hotels near east wind

The Holiday Inn Express in Riverhead...it has good prices, especially if you block rooms there.

Re: hotels near east wind

There is a Best Western not to far from there that I reserved rooms at also and they provide shuttle service. I got a rate of $149 a night and reserved 20 rooms, there and 15 at Eastwind. Figure I would give everyone what option they wanted

Did you have to leave a deposit with Best Western to do that?

Nope. They send you a contract in the mail and you just sign it and send it back. They gave me up until like a month before the wedding and then the rooms are released.

Re: hotels near east wind

We booked rooms at the Hampton Inn on the LIE. I think it is around exit 62. $149 for a room. This location is more convient for my guests. But we had to provide our own shuttle. The Best Western is probably your best choice b/c of the shuttle.

Re: hotels near east wind

The two closest hotels are the Best Western and Holiday Inn in Riverhead. Both hotels offer a free shuttle to EW if 15 or more rooms are booked. Problem with the shuttle however is that it doesn't hold 30 people (it only holds 15), and it is only free for one round trip.

The next two closest hotels are the Hampton Inn and the Radisson - both at Exit 63 on the LIE.

Going west from there, is the Marriott between exits 60 & 61, the Marriott at 59, and the Hampton Inn at 58.

There is also a Holiday Inn Express on 347 in Stony Brook.

None of these hotels require the to put down a deposit to block.

HTH!!!
