Early dismissal

Who else had early dismissal????

My daughter had an early dismissal...She goes to NORTH COLEMAN RD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN Centereach/Selden MIDDLE country school district
AND WE did not even get a phone call. They just put her on the bus and sent her home
Thank G O D my fiance stayed home just in case she got out early BUT the fact that they did not even call to make sure some one is home
I just called the school and no one answered
they will def get a call from me tomorrow
I am FUMING

OUr parents got a recorded message from an administrator, then one from the principal and then all teacher's had to call home. Good luck, I would be upset too.

We did!

9th period the principal got on the loudspeaker and i was like due to the weather we are leaving now. Everyone was pouring outta of the classrooms it was crazy

We did too- but we only got out 10 minutes early - better than nothing I guess

MY fiance was home. He stayed home JUST in case school was let out early
BUT it the principle of it all. We are not a 1 person working family, if your recording doesn not go thru (it didn't) then you need to know that and call some one from the EMERGENCY contact sheet that you make us fill o ut 3 times during the school year
