MOB dress question

MOB dress question

So my mom had a bad experience with her 1st dress for the wedding, so she ordered a new one and wanted black (to be safe). The dress is so pretty and i don't really care about the color, but i was just wondering what you guys think. I am getting married in the end of june, and its a day wedding. However, it is pretty formal so i am thinking its not such a big deal. Already my grandma commented on it to her though LOL. I guess she's a little old school and feels black shouldn't be worn to weddings :)

A lot of MOB and MOG are wearing black. If you and your mom are both happy with it then you're good to go!! My great-grandmother wore black to my grandmother's wedding, she said it was the 'thing' then.

I am a little old fashioned myself. I don't think it is appropriate if the mob or mog where black. There are so many colors to choose from. It is definatly yours and your mom's decision though. Some people may look at it and say why did she where black isn't she happy for them??

My mom is wearing black and my grandma said the same thing, but since its a formal event I think black is fine. All I care about is that no one is wearing white or any color close to it.

I agree with all the other girls, black is very elegant and classy.. You just can't go wrong.
