Re: My first discontined registry item............

So buy it yourself Kathleen, so you know you have it and won't have to worry about it not being available in the stores.

Very true.. I would do this.

This is why you have to consistantly check your registry (at the store) I know for sure Fortunoff doesn't state what items are being discontinued online.. It's not until you actually go to the store & print out your own registry- thats when you will see the word DISCONTINUED next to the item.

I know.. $ucks, Kathleen.. believe me. We had to change our bath ensambles twice... also a few of our appliances too

I feel your pain. I have lost many a registry item from Crate and Barrel. Go buy it yourself! That's what I wish I had done for my salad bowl set...

Yes, if it's the one you really want, go buy it for yourself, I'm sure you will still be able to get it, maybe not from the place you registered, but, you should still be able to find it.

That sux...... I had a number of things discontinued...fortunately they hadn't been bought yet.

If you call Fortunoff's, you can ask them to send you an email if something is discontinued. That's how I found out my items were being discontinued. That was before of course, I became addicted to looking at my registry!

Kathleen, Beth just reminded me of a great site - go to www.replacements.com - great prices, and they most likely will have it.

Re: My first discontined registry item............

Where did you all register? Just curious because I do Pampered Chef and we just came out with a new registry and I was wondering how it compared to others.

Thanks for the input!
