Catholic Church wedding time
I was wondering if any of you might know a Catholic Church between Huntington and Port Jeff that will schedule a wedding on a Saturday afternoon, later than the standard 3pm? Like maybe 5pm?
We don't want our guests to skip the ceremony because there is too much time between church and 7:30 pm reception!
Thanks!

Re: Catholic Church wedding time
Hi,
In response, (and I wish that I could offer the solution you are requesting!) it is highly likely that almost every Catholic church (and we have performed in many) performs a regular Saturday Mass for their steady parishoners at 5:00 PM. If you are not having the full Nuptial Mass, and you request a starting time of 3:30 PM and are completed by 4:45 of the wedding mass at the latest, this wont' be that much lag time for your guests at all really especially if they have to travel elsewhere and this makes things much less hectic perhaps. It's something to consider.
Wishing you all of the best..and I hope this works out well for you!

Re: Catholic Church wedding time
Saint Francis of Assisi in Greenlawn is a very relaxed Catholic church. Some of them are very strict including my own. I was not a member there, nor was my husband and I lived out of state. They were very accommodating. I am still not a member but all of my kids were Christened there as well. I do not know about Mass times but it is worth a phone call! Good luck. Macy
