NWR: Help with a Bday gift for Mom

Can anyone suggest a nice birthday present for the Mom that has anything and doesn't like spa gift certificates?

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I am a big fan on Yankee Candle.. I always buy my mom candles from there and she loves them..
if you go to the Yankee Candle store in the source, you can make your own baskets there.. I usually buy the piece where you put the tart in on top and the tea light on the bottom and it melts the tart on top and smells yummy for hours!!! HTH

We give them b'way tix, dinner GC + hotel every christmas and anniversary. I think it's getting old.

I was looking for something different.

I feel like it gets harder each year!

Re: NWR: Help with a Bday gift for Mom

We actually started an ING Direct account for my parents to save money for them to go to Italy. The first time we gave it to them, I put together a book of pictures of Italy, and printed out a 'register' of our deposits. Every holiday, my brothers and I can put $$ into their account to go towards their trip to Italy. We always bought them knick knacks, and my mom has EVERYTHING and NO ROOM for anything new, so this was the best choice. For Christmas, I also bought them a travel book on Italy to go along with their deposit. We give them $$ now for Mother's Day, Father's Day, B-days, Anniversary and Christmas. You can start a 'Vacation Fund' for them for anywhere they've always wanted to go!
