parent gifts
what is everyone getting their parents.also is anyone getting their mother the mother and bride lenox. if so how much was it?

We are paying for our photography so we are giving our parents their albums.

We are gave each set of parents their parent album, and at the RD I gave each parent a jet blue gift certificate to visit us (we moved shortly after the wedding) and I got my Mom a set of Lenox Butterfly Meadow dishes because she paid for 90% of the wedding.Hope that helps

Since we paid for the photographer (for the whole wedding for that matter) we got our parents their album, my parents and dh's mom got a video, I also gave my parents and dhs mom a handkerchief that came with a poem and all of the parents got a lenox picture frame.

we are going to make small albums from them at shutterfly and also give them a framed pic of us with them as well

Right now I have purchased hankies for my mom & FMIL...I am buying my brother Flyer vs Islander tickets, so my dad will be going with him (his present)My FFIL
Who knows...This is too difficult!!!!Plus both sets are getting albums! I want something extra for my parents as they are paying for the RD!!!!

We are sending my parents to Montauk for a weekend. Not sure about the inlaws. FH doenst wnat to do anything for them.

both sets of parents are getting a parent album and a DVD copy of our wedding. my parents are also getting a one night broadway package - 1 night in a hotel, 2 ticktes to a Broadway play and a restaurant voucher to use that night too. i wanted to do something extra for them because they're paying for about 1/3 of this wedding.

I was thinking about maybe getting tics to a Broadway show and dinner.... FH's parents really want to see Jersey Boys!!! I like the B&B idea....

We gave our parents 8x10 picture frames that e engraved and now we are going to pay for whatever wedding picture they want for it.

they are both gettng a parents wedding album, they did not help much with the wedding, MY parents gave us some $$ but his 0 SO i might just get my mom a little something nice on my own, under the radar

My mom-the Lenox figurine (forget how much it was), a mom hanky, Martina McBride CD with In My Daughter's Eyes ( I surprised her with a dance to that song)My Dad-a dad hanky and a cooking class together (we love to cook)
His mom-a mom hanky and a frame with a picture of DH and her when he was a child and a space for them at the wedding with his birthdate and our wedding date.
His dad-a claddagh (sp) pocketwatch

I got my mom the lenox figurine as well. Sorry, don't remember how much it was, but I got it on e-bay and I know that e-bay had the best prices. I also got my mom a handkerchief that said 'To dry your tears as you always dried mine'.I got my dad a music box/trinket box that plays 'Butterfly Kisses' and has thee photos on the top...one of me at my christening, one at my communion and one at my wedding.
I got my MIL a hanky that says 'Thank you for raising your son to be the man of my dreams'
We also got them gift certificate's to their favorite restaurants.
