Makeup/Hair recommendations in Bayside/Whitestone area *NM*

I am from the area and have used Helen Chiasson in Whitestone. She does a beautiful job, but you have to go to her place. She does not come to the house but does a great job on hair and her daughter does a good job on makeup.I cannot use her for my wedding(i have someone coming to me) but would have loved too.It seems a little chaotic when you are in there but the end result is worth it. She will be doing my hair for my friends wedding next month and I have no fear about my hair that day.

Another vote for Christy's in Bay Terrace

Last year my friend got her hair and makeup done at Christy's in Bay Terrace and they did a great job. I was the maid of honor and also got my hair done there and they did a good job. Got lots of of compliments. Christy's had been recommended by three friends who live nearby who regularly get there hair done there and/or have gotten hair done there for their weddings.
