I got an update on my dress....

I called my salon and they told me that my dress still hasn't come in and isn't scheduled to come in until the end of the month or early April! I am so sad, and alittle worried. I mean, I trust the shop b/c they have been in business for so long but I still worry. The BM dress are on the same schedule as well. Why are they torturing me?????

Anyone else have a similar situation?

Yes, I feel your pain!! I ordered my dress last April and it still isn't in. About a month ago I got a call that it'll be in for this April, that's a full year to have to wait!!!!!

I'm starting to go crazy, I just want it IN already!! Like you said, I trust the shop, but I'll feel a lot better once I know I can visit it!!

My dress came in at the end of September for my November wedding. My first fitting was 5 weeks before the wedding.

All my BM dresses came in end of feb, 4 weeks to the wedding... and one of the BM dresses had to go back and won't arrive until march 15th! argh but look on the bright side. You can be all fabulous and no need for 1st, 2nd fittings!

I just made my appt. for my first fitting for April 8th, 3 weeks before wedding. I asked the seamstress why so late and she said, she does the alterations immediately and it shouldn't take longer than a week and at my second fitting if anything more needs to be done then I will have the dress in a fews days after that. She was so confident and reassuring that I didn't question it further. I totally feel confident in my salon. They have been nothing but great. If you have the same, then don't worry, you still have 6 weeks before the wedding when the dress comes in. I'm sure everything will be fine.
