Oheka Castle Review
Ok....so we are back, Oheka is really nice place has a nice antique/romantic feel if thats is what you are looking for.The grounds on that place is amazing welll kept anyone holding their wedding there will have beautiful pics .The food was great they had a chinese, italian, and mashed potatoes, salmon, steak the food was awesome.
Open bar ladies I had a few cosmos
Now onto the vendors Thomas Knoel was there with his beautiful headpieces...girl even if you dont buy please make an appointment to see his headpieces they are gorgeous....I always said people we crazy to pay that much money but now I want one
Bridal Reflections were there as well beautiful dresses on dress i really loved was $8500 so I guess i have to keep looking but beautiful nonetheless
Onto my FAVORITE John was there his Centerpieces are truly a work of art girls I'm telling you do not book a florist without checking John from Flower Michele out he is truly amazing with a great personality which shows through his work.
Oh and it was truly a pleasure to meet Kimberly bride a fellow LIW bride she is soo sweet
Liz was also there she is also an amazing person
We (enjft and I) also recruited another LIW 07 bride she should be signing up tonight
Overall we had a blast and the $20 was well spent.

Re: Oheka Castle Review
we had a great time while we were there, but my poor mom got sick .
. It kind of ruined everything for us, but while we were there, it was nice! I loved Flower Michelle's stuff, too! I LOVED their pink, heart shaped bouquet! That vendor, liweddings.com, was great, too!

Re: Oheka Castle Review
Yeah it was a really nice time. I had a lot of shrimp!! The dessert they put out was amazing too. The service was nice and did a good job. The bar was fantastic!! I had myself two glasses of pinot and my mom had a cosmo! My sister stuck to soda I think and my FH had two apple martini's and two glasses of merlot!! (bad day at work)As for the vendors, I was really impressed with the cakes, they were beautiful. I fell in love with the dress on the Bridal Reflections table all the way on the right when you are looking at the table... which of course was over $9,000!! I love my gown that I already have but that took my breath away. Some of the model's gowns were amazing too. BR really went all out this time!!
Not to mention the flowers!!! It seemed like one florist was trying to out-do the next!! I loved Flower Michele's pieces, everything looked great. I also spoke with the guy from Thomas Knoell and I was really admiring his hair clips (possibly for my hair at my sister's wedding where I will be MOH).
The give-aways were so much fun!! My FH and I won the digital camera (he was the tone deaf singer) LOL but he knows almost all the words to our wedding song which was nice.
Everyone from LIW that I met and spoke to were SO nice and SO great!!! THANKS SO MUCH and we LOVE our camera!!!!!!!
All in all, we had an awesome night!!

Wait... do you have red hair? So your FH sang your song, and pulled you to him to dance with you while he was singing, right? That was you? I LOVED that! I almost got teary! Then I got mad at my poor FH, who couldn't be there last night, because I know he would NEVER do that in public. He's done something similar in the privacy of our home (singing the Charles in Charge theme song to me and dancing... don't ask. He's an idiot. lol), but he gets so shy in public! lol. Good for you! I wish you both the best... you're a cute couple!

We had a great time too! (Of course, all the cosmos we had definitely helped
) We met Kimberlybride who is the sweetest person ever! I think she is going to rock in her new position!
We finally met Liz - who is so funny and so cool. We really enjoyed talking with her - we were cracking up while chatting with her at the end of the night. She just gave me the feeling that she is the ultimate business woman - she just looks so professional and in control. It's hard to describe but I know what I mean
And can we just talk about how excited and enthusiastic John from Flower Michelle is?! We booked an appointment with him for next week. He is everything you want in a florist. The food was great (although not as great as at their showcase this past fall) We stuffed our faces. I really enjoyed the caviar with the strawberry flavored vodka shots. The shrimp were a little too frozen though - mine were icy. The dessert cakes were amazing! We had pear pie, cheesecake, German chocolate cake, chocolate fudge cake, and coconut cake. The candy apples weren't that great - the apples themsevles were mushy. The raspberry sorbet was good, but the white chocolate mousse was too pasty.
