Wedding Song
How did you know what you would pick as your wedding song? FH and I are having trouble picking... we originally picked All the Way by Frank Sinatra but now think we should use something else... there are so many songs that we love but not wedding appropriate.... AGHH, why am I worrying about this??

We picked "After All" by Cher and Peter Cetera. I honestly can't say how we picked it. It just seemed right and we love it!

What is wedding appropriate? Our song is not a traditional wedding song, but it's our song. It's been our song for the longest time, So we're using it. Although we really want our wedding to reflect us.

We started by deciding what kind of song we wanted (slow, ballad, jazz, ect.). We both wanted something upbeat so that narrowed down the field pretty quick. From there we settled on "More" by Bobby Darrin. Good Luck!

Our song is going to be the first song we ever danced to. We went to a Peter Frampton concert when we just started dating and we danced to "Baby I Love Your Way".
It was so romantic!

My FH and I are still undecided too. He want's thank you for loving me by bon jovi and don't wanna miss a thing by aerosmith and I want amazed by lonestar or from this moment from shania twain. We are still looking for one we can both agree on though.

FH picked Into the Mystic b/c he first heard it on American Wedding and really liked the song. So we decided to use it as our "wedding" song and also dance to Wonderful Tonight which is "our" original song

When we first started dating, my FH made me a lot of mix cds and one was entitled "angel" because of the aerosmith song. We also like "Don't want a miss a thing" by aerosmith as well, so we're still deciding.
Also, since I am a HUGE country music fan (I know, I know) I want to pick out a song that we can dance to whenever during the reception.

I would try to think of any song that makes you think of your future husband. We are dancing to our song which is "For me this is Heaven" jimmy eat world. It was a song I put on a mix for him before we started dating and just always made me think of him. Think of lyrics that you enjoy and just go with it. You can totally dance to whatever song you like...don't worry if it isn't wedding appropriate.
Just make sure it isn't "Too Close" by Next.

i think u should try something that has specific meaning to and ur relationship......FH and I broke up in the summer of 2004 for three months. We alwasy kept touch but just had some things we needed to work out. Anyway......we saw eachother a couple of times and one day we both ditched work and school to spend the day together. We went to the movies and saw Shall we Dance......it was bizarre b/c the "moral" of the movie was exactly what our relationship needed. And when the song for the movie came on (Peter Gabriel's Book of Love) we both started crying our eyes out. Needless to say later that week we got back together and its been heaven ever since! But our song has special meaning........and most people will not get it at all....but who cares! Sorry so long

We're using Crusin by Gweneth Paltrow and Huey Lewis. This is so cheesy, but we both love singing karaoke and after we saw the movie Duets we always said that we had to sing that song. It just seemed to work for us.
