Eat at your own wedding
My friend got married 6 months ago at the same RH we're getting married. Her now-husband came up to me at our e-party and said, 'I'm glad I can go to Riviera again because I didn't get to eat last time.' So, now I'm wondering, do bride(and/or groom) get to eat at all at their own wedding? Vote and share your thoughts!
As for my FH and I, we simply have to eat -- we're both such foodies

But, at my e-party, I was too busy running around and mingling, I forgot to eat

Re: Eat at your own wedding
Put it this way, if I want to eat my as* is sitting down and eating
I am sure people are so involved and running around that you might not get time to, but in my opinion you make time

Re: Eat at your own wedding
I was hungry; we had the 'time' to eat (meaning we weren't running around b/c we attend our CH)...but I was too excited to eat. I can't explain it. I lost my appetite. And yes, we recently went to a wedding at our hall and I ate!

Re: Eat at your own wedding
One of things I loved about the Crescent was that DH and I came first. They made sure we ate and always had a drink. After our ceremony, they put us in the bridal suite and gave us samples of everything at the cocktail hour. During the reception, we were served all of the courses first. That way, we could finish first and then go around to the tables to greet everybody. I'm so glad we ate (although I wasn't that hungry b/c of the excitement of the day) b/c the food was fabulous.

Re: Eat at your own wedding
I highly doubt I am going to eat at the wedding b/c at my e-party I was too excited and I couldn't eat a thing! So I could only image how excited I'll be at the wedding.

Re: Eat at your own wedding
I cannot live without eating!!! When we went down to Disney a few years ago FH planned everything around a schedule cuz I am ALWAYS hungry and he didn't want me to be hungry and complain the whole time. So I will DEFINITELY be eating at my own wedding! If my guests have to talk to me they can come to me!

Re: Eat at your own wedding
i'm def. going to try to eat. Also, we're going to ask for doggie bags ahead of time. I've heard stories of brides and grooms who get to their hotel suite and have to order a hamburger because they are so hungry!

Re: Eat at your own wedding
Im a big eater soI always look foward to eating!!!LoL... Anyway, at my CH we made the coctail hour 1 1/2 hours so hopefully we will have time to grab a bite with the bridal party, & during the reception i doubt we will get a chance to eat but the hall is gicing us 2 servings of everything ont he menu to take home with us, so I'm def going to eat the food for my own wedding, maybe just not during the wedding

Re: Eat at your own wedding
That's awesome. I wonder if I should have thought of that before we signed up with the hall? I should ask them about that.Anyway, I'm going to make it a point to eat.
