Bride's Bouquet Question

Hi Ladies,

I am trying to personalize my wedding and do some different & sentimental kinds of things.

I want to honor all the women in my life that have been there for me over the years along with the new women in my life from my FH side.

I have seen before but cannot for the life of me find it now that I need the info...

In my bridal Bouquet I can make a detachable bouquet and pull flowers from it and give it to the women on the way down the isle. Has anyone heard of this or even know what I am talking about....

I was thinking: because I am having three flower girls ~ make one of my flower girls hold a basket of these flowers for the special women in my life (for each women I was going to have one of there favorite flowers with a little note from me & FH) and we can give them to these special women after we are married. What do you think?

Thanks a bunch for your input!
Christine

Re: Bride's Bouquet Question

I think that is a very nice idea. I think you might have to be careful not to offend the women who AREN'T getting flowers. If you are giving them to a few people I think it will cause less trouble. Also, will you be able to locate them in their seats as you walk by? Maybe ou can pass them out during the receiving line?

Re: Bride's Bouquet Question

The flower girl passing thewm out is a good idea. But they would have to be seated right at the edge of the pew so they can reach them.
XOXOXO

Re: Bride's Bouquet Question

Someone did this recently. Im thinking an 05 bride. Let me see if I can find the information for you.
ETP - Through a search, both these brides (JPC1125 and Marc_rai)mentioned they would have their flower girls give out roses as they walked down the aisle because they werent allowed to use rose petals at the church. Instead of handing our flowers, why dont you honor them with corsages?

Re: Bride's Bouquet Question

It's really cool, and unique, but it might just be easier to honor them with corsages.

Re: Bride's Bouquet Question

There was a bride who instead gathered roses from important people in her life to make up her bo-k as she walked up the aisle. I know her name was Amy and I think she was an '05 bride. I think that was a beautiful gesture.
