RQOTD: Have you ever pulled a Britney Spears?
For this question, I'm referring to her stepping on a needle because she was walking barefoot when she needed to be wearing some damn shoes! The only time I ever really go barefoot when I shouldn't is at field 2 parking lot at Robert Moses.

I go barefoot everywhere..I have no fear..so yes, I am guilty of pulling a Brittany. It's from my Tom boy days. Then again I have calluses on my feet so I probably wouldn't feel it!
I really need a pedicure!

When I moved into my old apartment in Times Square my buzzer was broken. I went downstairs to let the cable guy in and the door locked automatically behind me. I was in sweats and a t-shirt with no shoes on having to beg for $.25 so I could call a locksmith. Times Square barefoot..... scary!!!!!

Definitely at the beach in the parking lot - especially leaving the beach (putting the flip flops back on is not as much fun as bare-footin it!)In the summer I am pretty laissez-faire about my shoes - but I never ever would go in a public restroom w/o shoes (unlike Britney)

Once a co-worker stepped on a toothpick and called in sick.We all gave her a hard time about it and lined the floor of her cubicle by sticking toothpicks in her rug-they were all over. She didn't think it was funny-but come on, how could you not think that's funny? (she wasn't seriously injured or anything)

Re: RQOTD: Have you ever pulled a Britney Spears?
I used to go around barefoot all the time in the summer. We spent the summers at my family's beach house so I would never wear shoes - my feet were always so dirty. You'd have though I might have stopped after I cut my foot open so bad on a shell that it didn't stop bleeding for hours. Or, after I jumped off the porch directly onto a nail that was hidden in the sand. Or after I stepped on a clam rake hidden under seaweed we were collecting - nope.
Actually, maybe I should say you'd have thought my mom would MAKE me wear shoes after those- but no, she didn't like to wear them either.
It just never felt comfortable wearing shoes around there. It still don't sometimes, but my feet really can't take the rocks on the road like they used to.
Oh, but a public restroom - that skeezes me out now. But honestly, I'm sure I did it as a kid a million times at the beach.

Re: RQOTD: Have you ever pulled a Britney Spears?
My parents told me about tetanus really early on! I was already afraid of stepping on things.I even wore jelly shoes in the water on the north shore b/c of the rocks ( not because of tetanus, but for fear of bloody feet)
I do like to be barefoot at home though& have stepped on broken glass I thought I had cleaned up.
Sometimes I end up barefoot in a dressing room & it freaks me out. ewwww.

No. I hate my feet so I NEVER go barefoot, except in the shower.
