I booked...
2 vendors and started our bridal registry this weekend. FH came down for the weekend, so we went to see the photographer my MOH recommended. The Glenmar Studio was wonderful. They know our church and our hall, which is always a plus. Both FH and I really liked the pictures they showed us. The owner, Barbara, met with us and she was so nice. This is what we're getting:1 8x10 album for us
2 5x7 parent albums
all the proof, and they don't print the word 'proof' on the pictures
thank you inserts
2 8x10 photos
1 11x14 photo
engagement pictures (roll of 10)
all this for $2795! So we put down the deposit. Which makes me all happy.
On the way home we stopped at BB&B and started the registry process. It went alot smoother than I anticipated. FH and I had an easy time agreeing on things. We picked out casual china that we both love!
And then, in the evening, we met with our dj and signed the contract.
I'm just so excited that we got so much done this weekend.

Re: I booked...
the sad part is the BB&B doesn't have the gravy boat
. But FH found a website that have 'replacement' pieces for all sorts of china sets, and they have the gravy boat, just not in stock at the moment. That'll probably be one of the first things I do/buy when we get all settled after the wedding.

I'm using glenmar too. I also felt really comfortable with them. And, they were familiar with the synogogue I'm getting married at. Congrats!!!

Re: I booked...
Congrats! My parents used Glenmar (assuming it's the same one) 40 years ago!! We saw their shop when we went to the George Washington Manor, and my mom got so excited when she saw her photographer!
Don't forget to get bridal party pictures! Congrats on booking and registering!
VERY productive weekend, huh?
