RP: URGENT KENNETH POOL BRIDES..NEED YOUR HELP!!! FIRST DRESS FITTING DISATER

so besides the store which i won't name, telling me that my dress was in and then calling me back 2 months later and telling me its not in..now got my dress in...you would think i should be happy i was until i received a phone call right now from the owner and she said' hi, it blah blah and im calling because i doon't want you to be disapointed when you come in tomoorw but your dress is in..and thte bad news is the BEADING on the dress was not done yet...the dress will have no beads on it and its just an ivory plain dress....we will send it back the same day and they will spend some time doing the beading'..'so basicallly to make me hapy she then says..'this way its a more custom fit for you'...what B.S......im so upset...i so badly hate dealing with this people....when i finalyy get this dress and all the problems i've had with the bridesmaids dress also i will tell them i will never recommend them to anyone!!!
dID THIS EVER HAPPEN TO ANNYONE?

Someone else posted about that on this board. They said their beading had to be added later. I'm not sure what the purpose is, it might be because its done by hand and they want you to try it on and get it altered before they add the beading. Your dress is so gorgeous. Take pictures and post them if you can.

The dress may not be 'alterable'. So they need to alter it before doing the beading.

wow...sorry to hear what they are doing to you. its not fun....i can't imagine if they did that to me...well i have not started looking yet at dresses but i probably should get on that!!...hope everything works out!!!

This is actually typical of dresses like that. Think about what it would be like to alter a dress like that if you had to do it with all the beading. It would be ridiculously hard and probably wouldn't look right. I know I had to end up leaving my dress a little big in the waste because it was too hard to alter with all the embroidery and beadwork. I would just make sure they get on it ASAP, since your wedding is less than 6 months away.
