attending cocktail hour

Is anyone going to be attending their cocktail hour? FH and I want to (he wants to get his hands on the clam and oyster bar, and I want to enjoy the food as well)
I was thinking about just taking pictures for 20min or so. If we do attend and say our hello's to everyone will we still have to make the rounds when we get to the reception?

I was dealing with the same thing but our BM pointed out something. Being at your cocktail hour might actually take away the experience of your grand reception entrance. You can tell your bridal attend or the maitre D what you want in your bridal suite and they will definitley accomodate you and your bridal party.

are you taking pics before the ceremony? that would be the best way to attend your CH. 20 min. for pics will NOT be enough. if you rush your pics, you'll regret it.

FH and i are NOT attending our CH cause we don't want to see each other b4, and will be doing pics that entire hour. (and we probably still won't have enough time.)

if you truly don't want to miss your CH--take all your pics before the ceremony, and then you can enjoy the CH with your guests

No were going to party in the huge bridal suite. Also, were getting the plasma tv's playing our church before we walk in... if we were going to CH it doesn't make sense to show all of that I want a big entrance

this is the other reason who won't attend the CH--we are having a very grand introduction for our reception..and traditionally my family does it where the couple is married--and you don't see them again until the reception

We are taking pic's before the ceremony and I am defiantly going to my Cocktail Hour. We plan on walking around and saying hi to everyone there, so we don't have to do it during the reception.

We are having the Ceremony at the RH and we really can't be there until 1/2 before. I want to get great shots of the BP and FH & I at other locations before (Beach, Park, etc..)

I hope we can go to ours!!! That's where are the YUMMY food is at ours! I know they will have a lot in the bridal suite too though

we're doing our pics before at OWG, then we're doing ht efamily pic's @ CH we have extended our CH by 30 min. (If we need to we can always extend it longer though)

I will be at the last part of the cocktail hour because at our hall we have a yacht arrival to the Cocktail hour. I also want some of the food!!
