Another Catholic/Christian Bride Q....
During the sign of peace will you kiss your FH or will you just hug and save the kiss for when you are officially married?

Hmm, I never thought about it and I can't remember being at a wedding where the Bride and Groom kissed before 'the first kiss'

In a Catholic Mass, you are already married by the time the Sign of peace comes around... the exchange of vows and rings and marriage blessing is doen BEFORE communion and the sign of peace....

Oh and I've seen some Catholic couples NOT kiss during the mass because the priest never says, 'You may kiss the bride.' But I've also seen some do it after he formally introduces them as Mr and Mrs ..... this is before communion

I never saw a 'pre' kiss in a Catholic wedding before the official announcement.

i think i would kiss on the cheek. the way i see it is, i would kiss a male i knew on the CHEEK. for example, an uncle, brother, father etc.

We always kiss on the cheek during the sign of peace, so we did it at our Nuptial mass also, I didn't even think about it.

The priest said to us 'ok not the real thing but give a kiss on the cheek.' WE giggled and did just that.
