Pricing for Photography/Video
I have my first appointment with a photographer/ photographer next week. I have no idea what an average price is. Can you all tell me what you think is good?Thanks

We've got the both for 3700. You can get it a little cheaper, but I think we've got the best price for really good quality vendors. Most the other places we looked at were really good, but really expensive too. The first place we looked at started at 4500 just for photography!!

We are paying just over 5000 for the photographer and probably around 1800 for the video -

We are paying $4600 for both photo and video.We are getting:
1 - 50 page bridal album
2 - 24 page parent albums
1 - 16x20
2 - 8x10
6 - 5x7
100 - Thank You's
Proofs
3 DVD's of video coverage of wedding day
Photographer's will be there for 12 hours

We got just photography for about 2800, but it includes:e-pics
8x10 album for us
2 5x7 parent albums
thank you card inserts
all the proofs
a low-res cd with all the pics
So I think we made out pretty good.

It depends on what you want. FH and I saw a lot of our photographer's work when we were looking at halls, and decided that we had to have that photographer. We were willing to pay a little more because we thought the quality of the work was worth it.That being said, we're paying more for photography than a lot of people pay for videography and photography combined...
ETA: We're paying $4500 for two photographers, all our proofs and our album.
